Did you know, you can fish year round on Lake Simcoe? Lake Simcoe provides some of the best fishing and ice fishing in Ontario. Lake Simcoe is home to a variety of fish including Perch, Bass, Whitefish, Walleye and Lake Trout. Innisfil has a number of private and public boat launch facilities available along Lake Simcoe’s shoreline where you can launch or store your crafts. The public boat launch in Innisfil Beach Park is open year round and can be used during the winter by ice fishers to drop off or pick up their fishing huts.

Innisfil provides access to hundreds of kilometres of snowmobiling trails. The Mid-Ontario Snowmobile Trail and Ontario Federation Snowmobile Clubs have worked to develop extension of trails throughout Simcoe County, allowing snowmobilers to travel throughout the whole county. Innisfil is the perfect location for scuba diving in Lake Simcoe with miles of shoreline to explore. To help protect the safety of our scuba divers and boaters, the Town of Innisfil has designated Government Dock at 30th Sideroad as our official scuba diving dock.
